Packo's Pages Vol 23   September 2009

Hello once again to all the Packo’s fans out there! September will bring some changes..the weather, the leaves, the bedtimes, but rest assured, Packo’s will remain the same great product you have grown to love! Always here to serve our customers, Tony.

After much deliberation and discussion, it was decided that since there are so many great Packo’s products that it makes it hard to choose, this month’s Packo’s Pick is, well, anything Packo’s! From the ever popular Sweet Hot Mix, to our delicious Chili, and over to our Hungarian Salsa, you can’t go wrong, whatever your favorite! Try something new, or go with your old standby, you won’t be disappointed.

Here’s a tasty spread to try, from ilovepickles.org!

Sweet Pickle Pie
- 3 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
- 2 5-ounce jars sharp Old English pasteurized process cheese spread
- 1 5-ounce jar blue cheese spread
- 3/4 cup Packo’s Sweet Pickle Relish
(for a bit of bite, try Pickles & Peppers Relish...delish!)
- 3/4 cup sweet cucumber slices
Measure 3/4 cup cream cheese. Set aside. Combine remaining cream cheese and cheese spreads in a large bowl. Add Sweet Pickle Relish. With electric mixer, beat until well-blended. Spoon into 9-inch pie plate. Spread into an even layer. Chill about 4 hours. To decorate, put the 3/4 cup cream cheese in pastry bag with shell or other decorative metal tip. Pipe border around edge. Garnish with sweet cucumber slices. Serve with crackers.
